THURSDAY January 6, 2011 River of Stones

A small stone for River of stones.

Morning comes,
A quiet majesty,
Pink in the Eastern sky,
Sail over deep purple mountains,
No sign of waking,
The sky is a clear, pale blue,
Over the sleepy village.

Love those touches of color. My morning was white with new snow and light gray/white cloud cover. I like yours so much better.

So beautiful. I can see it, from my desk, past the gray misting rain and no color anywhere - right over the mountains to your place!

Small stones, penetrating the gray mist to create such a beautiful image.
